This is one of a few carved amethyst rings that were ever made by David Webb as a part of his amethyst and green enamel suite. This ring features a smooth to the touch large spheric purple fluted amethyst that is mounted in a tapering gold mounting. The shoulders of the settings are decorated with light green enameling, and further set with pave round diamonds.
