In the mid-1970s David Webb began sketching fundamental forms, such as arrows and zigzags, circles and squares. Imagined initially as pendants, these pencil sketches were turned into jewelry set in yellow gold and platinum, their shapes described in brilliant-cut diamonds with white or black enamel.The result was jewelry with chromatic punch - yet as basic for the stylishly dressed modern woman as the perfect white shirt and little black dress.
Tailored simplicity, is how the always fashion-conscious David Webb described his new creations. Presented here is a beautiful example of a white enameled link necklace chain that can be dressed up or down. 4 sections are: 4cm each, middle: 5cm.
