The Old Mine Cut has a somewhat cushion-shaped or squarish outline with rounded corners and a high crown. It typically features a small table (the flat top facet of the diamond), a large open culet (the facet at the bottom of the diamond), and a deeper pavilion (the bottom portion of the diamond).
